"J'ai toujours préféré la folie des passions à la sagesse de l'indifférence."

Xavier Dolan (Quebecois cinematographer)
Freely quoting Anatole France (French writer)

In few words...

At first, coffee was neither a passion nor a vocation for me. However, I have been drinking it daily since my childhood (I have!), and I have gradually learned to truly appreciate it. I have fervently frequented coffee shops for many years, primarily to settle in for a few hours and work. Therefore, this habit has naturally lead me to the decision to make it my profession.

Hi everyone! I'm Maxime, and after many years spent doing academic research and teaching literature, it was  time for me to make my passion for sharing more concrete. Because of my growing desire for engagement, it seemed appropriate to put this passion to the service of the community, with a strong commitment to encouraging initiatives that share with me a willingness to do well, to do better, to create connections, and to make sense.

And what better place than a coffee shop to welcome people, be it workers or wanderers, to encourage meetings and exchanges, and to develop activities? Even more so if these activities promote both conviviality and thinking, around social, artistic, and cultural questions?
